How to choose the right puppy for me?

Aw - That is so sweet!

Thank you everyone, I definitely have plenty of things to look out for now! I plan to spend some time there when choosing and be patient, watchful and calm (or as calm as I can be :lol:). I saw an adult sheltie being taken for a walk yesterday. Don't see very many of them around where I live, so it was nice to see that!
 
I am sure you are not in doubt when you get the connection between you and your puppy. :no:

When I had to choose my last GSD, I stood and looked at all these cute puppies a while, so there was one who stuck her head right up in to me and our eyes met, I became warm inside :yes:
- my sense took over - No, not her, I felt she was too tenuous.

looked at the puppies -again there was a sweet little head sticking out and looked at me, "yes, she should it be" --- oh no, Truly it was that same puppy :eek2:

When the same thing happened again, my heart said that it had to be her, even though her "look" was not quite what I had expected.

I was just not thinking that she had to "replace" the best looking large GSD male.

She became the most fun, loyal and lovable GSD female I've had, and she grew big and beautiful. :hugs

Oh, Hanne...your beloved Shepherd was just stunning...such an intelligent yet gentle face. I can see why your heart was stolen.
