Humping?

Bailey just turned 7 months and just starting this past week humping our female cat. He always seems to get her when she is drinking from the water bowl. I tell him leave it or off or no and he stops however poor Molly seems a bit annoyed.

Still debating when to have him neutered and wanted to wait as long as I could up to one year however might do it in a couple of months if he keeps this up (however from what I hear, neutering might not make a difference ) :eek2:

Wow, I must be really lucky... I have owned 2 females and 5 male shelties over the years and own 2 Persian cats ... Never had humping issues!

Out of my current 3 boys ... One who is a rescue did try on a service guy that entered my home and I of course stopped him. Nothing since then.

My neutered male (American Eskimo) humps the cat and also used to hump our Pomeranian. It will be interesting to see what he tries with the new baby girl.

I couldn't figure out how one pillow in the guest bedroom kept getting squashed. Until one day I was in the room and Shelby comes running in, jumps on the bed, and starts humlping the pillow!

ahahahaha! I laughed way too hard at your expense with that one!

That being said- Watson was neutered at 11.5 months. Never humped anything before that, has never humped anything after. He has plenty of opportunity to try it out with the cats but never has. We had a spayed mixed breed when I was growing up that was a leg humper though.

Little 13 week old Baker is a humping machine. The funniest is the full sized soccer ball in the yard. He humps that furiously - so hard to not laugh.
