OMG I am SO happy for you - she is absolutely dynamite cute. I love your idea of a registered name. As you know, Claire is the main character, or her daughter Brianna. Both those names could work. Or a play on the word Ash - Ashley.

I’d thought of the word Ash (was actually thinking of trees lol because the dam’s name is Willow) but hadn’t thought of Ashley...I like it, definitely a possibility! Thanks Sharon!

Yes, Piper and Finnie are both sables. This will be my first bi blue...I’ve heard they’re behaviour is different than sables..I wonder if anyone has noticed any difference?

I bought a new bed for the dogs...I’m thinking Piper will love it (he really likes to sleep under something...a chair, end table, night table) AND it makes it easier for me to throw out (I may see if a rescue wants it, still in good shape), a monstrosity of a dog bed (actually large enough for both dogs and then some...). Don’t think this bed would hold more than two small dogs (sorry Finnie lol) but Finnie does prefer to sleep on the bench or on the bed.

I heard there are behaviour differences based on colour too but I can't compare. Something like sables being the most 'nice' The breeder of my girl said the bi black are all crazy and to be ready. She is crazy but who knows why :yuckyuck

got two brown dogs, one biblack and one biblue.
don't think color has anything to do with it- they all have their own personalities which I very much doubt is color-related.....
however, if your biblue is anything like Destin, you'll have tons of fun :winkgrin:

I’ve heard that about them! If at 7 weeks she has enough coat to be outside in -20 C weather for a few minutes then she’s definitely going to have loads of coat!
