Yes, like everyone else has said, you're doing a great job trying everything you can for him. It has to be exhausting, but you obviously love him and are willing to put in the effort

OH~~ let me re-phrase it (because I rush to the internet to update you all after my boy in the crate). She said she cannot determine when he will come out of his shell just by one meeting, she has to observe him in the puppy class to see what else we can do on him.

And I will keep working on everyone advise in here~ I read a post about putting some peanut butter on a long spoon so he will follow me, I use that to lure him into his scary area and I will keep trying that.

If she cannot help my boy, then I'll try another trainer to see what is best for him. I honestly cannot leave him~ :sadsmile:

Thanks for the clarification....Like Danisgoat, I was starting to question the trainer as well!

One other thing to remember is that pups go through phases, just like human kids. One day they'll be playful and sociable, and next thing, they are jumping at shadows.

Good luck! p.s. 4 months is not too old to start puppy school. When I brought Bacca, I'm pretty sure they weren't taking any dogs under 6 months!

Snwong - keep positive. You'll get there. Don't be surprised if all of a sudden one day, you'll wonder why you ever questioned having him. He'll just be doing what you want. He's scared, he's a puppy, he's away from what he has known. It takes time, just like it does for a child to adjust to new things. You're on the right track.
