rocky mountain spotted fever is VERY rare on the west coast, more prevalent in south and midwest.
It's not even on my radar, tbh.

Your not being paranoid Cindy, your just an awesome dog owner who cares. Nothing wrong with that! I’m sure Gavin will be fine and of course if your worried you could get the vet to do a snap test. Keep in mind Gavin could still show symptoms of Lyme if he does have it even though he’s more of a tripod and old...just watch out for anything out of the ordinary so worse walking, more lethargy etc.

Gavin is home. He is super lethargic and wouldn't eat treats for me 
The boarding place said he didn't eat all his breakfast, but he ate all his dinner last night.
I hope it's just a bug.
Looking up Lyme, it takes 4 weeks to 2 months for symptoms to emerge so it's not that.
