I'm a new member, got a new sheltie pup 5 weeks ago!!

It's a terrific name! Hopefully, it won't speak to his personality later on! :wink2:

What do you call him for "short"???
 
Sandstorm

We do call him Sandstorm, not Sandy or Storm. We also have nicknames- the latest is silly pants. It was silly butt, untill we saw the dingleberries. We now have a designated dingleberry duty time. (like the alliteration?):lol:
Seriously, it is Sandstorm, we just feel that he looks like a Sandstorm .

Happy to oblige! And Welcome to Sandstorm!!! As a confirmed poop-chuter, I can recommend its effctiveness. I have four Shelties, and every one has a chute. :biggrin2:

Sandstorm sounds like the perfect name for him for his lineage and where he lives...and when he starts to do the sheltie spin, it will be even more perfect!!
 
welcome and I am wondering myself why shelties are not the most popular dogs, in the pooch park where we started visiting we yet to see another sheltie although we were told there were couple coming at times...
