Incident occurred Tuesday 22nd Sept

Hehehehe, cracking up again! Too funny to read with out laughing out loud, guess I should be glad I'm at home and not work!!

I say give him a couple of treats! Mr. Mess Maker deserves them!! And the paintings are great!!

And MMM has a darned good lawyer in Ima Barker! With a defense like that he'll earn the whole BOX of treats. Bravo!

Another reason I just love this Forum -- great laughs on a rainy Sunday!:lol::lol:

Ima Barker on retainer

You know, I was thinking, Mr. McKinley Mess Maker might want to keep Ms. Ima Barker, Esquire, on retainer....I have a feeling other issues might pop up during puppyhood. I have no intention of telling my group about this puppy lawyer, they'd take me to arbitration to get pizza one night a week! And all those Lassie movies, over and over.

I've brought this matter to Indy and Bacca who are the Worker Rep's in the Sheltie Bargaining Unit.

They uncategorically confirm that a treat is definitely in order, and wish to make it clear that if no treat is provided immediately, another grievance will be filed against Management.

It is their belief that this kind of requirement extends beyond the terms of the Sheltie Union contract and now insist that double Hardship pay is now in order.

Failure to comply will result in a Union meeting, and may result in a full-blown Sheltie strike on or before Halloween night. (You'all know what THAT would mean!) They also want everyone to know, that in the event of a strike, any Sheltie caught "crossing the line" will have fines levied against them.

As the Management Rep, it is my duty to strongly recommend that you provide said treat as soon as possible in order to avoid future union activity. If our Shelties strike at Halloween and it is still unresolved come Christmas, there won't be any cute Shelties in Santa Hat pictures.

Sincerely,

Sheltie Union/ Uppa Gumtree Management Deliberations and Conclusions

27 September 2009 19:53 EDST

Section 1.10
We, Ron and Jan Tetrault of Uppa Gumtree Management, Inc, have acquiesced to the motion set forth by the Sheltie Forum concerning the deliberations of the Sheltie Union Bargaining Unit regarding the Special Attire Hardship Pay for R.R. William J. McKinley, Jr.

Payment has been rendered (the Rec Hall floor has been mopped).

Section 1.20
I, R.R. William J McKinley, Jr (a.k.a. now as MMM) have duly received my Special Attire Hardship Pay in the form of 2 bites Honey Ham (mmmmmmm) and 3 bites of Vermont Extra Sharp White Cheddar Cheese (yuuummmm). I also received a viewing of “101 Dalmatians” with buttered popcorn served.

My thanks go out to all of those of you who sided with me: Ima Barker, Indy, Bacca, MissJenny (for the movie suggestion) and all of you two legged union supporters.

Please inform all affiliated Locals and Union Card Holders that there will be no strike initiated from Local 2280 of the S.U.B.U, and may proceed with any and all negotiations for the Howl-o-ween and Christmas Attire for portraits, paintings and events.

Ima Barker, your portion of the judgement is being forwarded FedEx Overnight (Ham and Cheese doesn't have a long shelf life)

Look for the union label
When you are buying us a treat or toy.
Remember somewhere our union's herding,
our wages going to feed all pups and bring us joy.
We work hard but who's complaining.
Thanks to the S.U.B.U. we're playing all day.
So, always look for the union label,
it says we're able
to do it our way.

Nooooooooo. I heartily disagree with treats. Otherwise I will be forking out a tonne of treats when mine get dressed up for the wool festival parade next weekend! And its not like Deska needs the treats.

Honestly, pups today, it used to be they were happy with a cuddle - now they are holding us puppy parents to ransom!
