Introduction to the new addition

They are so adorable!!

Size can just drive you nuts!! Dusty came from parents that was 13" and 14" He is a whopping 17 1/4" :eek2:

2 of Belles pups from last year were measuring oversize on the chart, as of right now the one is 13 1/2" and the other is 15" Just goes to show the chart is not always right!
 
Great pics and video! As much as it is probably exhausting to have all those sheltie brats all at once it seems such a fun time!
I remember Che having huge spurt of growth right around 12-16 weeks, then it was very slow though it was clear right from the beginning he has large bones and go oversize. Leo OTOH is riding low end of insize so far he is 8.5 lbs and 11.5" at 18 weeks but he was passed by breeder for not having enough substance.
What are the measurements for Bock and Sangria?

I certainly heard that click and saw Bock running to ya with that dumb bell to get his reward!! Well done!!
 
I have not watched all the videos yet but the one is the snow is so darn cute. They look like they have such fun with Diva. How far are you from Delano? Have a friend that has friend there.

They are 9 wks
Sangria is 9 7/8" and 7lbs 13oz
Bock is 9 3/8" and 7lbs 2 oz

Thing is Sangria started off the smallest and is now tied with Porter as the biggest. She has grown sigfigantly every week with no slow down. Big feet, knuckles. Bock started off the biggest and is not growing at the same rate. At one point he was a pound bigger than everyone. He barely grew the last 2 weeks only adding 1/2" and less than a pound. He has good bone.

But that's why we are growing them out. Ember's sister was like than Sangria. Huge puppy and only ended up being 15".Ember was looking to be 14.5-15ish and barely made 13" Diva herself was on the chart to be around 15" and only ended up 13 3/4". Rachel's boy Grizz was about the same size and weight as Bock and is 14.5" now. Kramer was looking to be around 15" and he is not even 13" yet at 6 months. Size it will drive you crazy.

That is Izzy, Kiva and Trig. 3 Malamutes. Izzy and Trig are visiting. Izzy is a show dog Rahcel is handling and Trig is boarding. They like to sing. :smile2:

Yes that was a clicker. Knew you'd pick that up.:biggrin2: Bock loves it. I have a pretty good shaped sit started. He is offering downs and stand/stacks, watch me, hand touches, going in his kennel, a pretty good recall started and picking things up. His barking has gone down about 90%. All with just shaping. I think alot of his bad behavior was him not being challenged mentally enough. He has settled down so much since I took him. We introduced the clicker at 3 weeks when their ears opened. Just started clicking when mom came back and when we fed them. So it was easy to start with him.

Awww....loved the videos. They look like big balls of fluff right now. Love it! Sometimes I wish we had snow so I could see if my dogs like it (Miko would hate it, but Koji would probably love it), but then, I'm grateful I don't have snow. lol. I'll enjoy the videos from the warmth of my house/work.
