Is your sheltie's name Jake?

I think what's really embarrassing is when you stand in the park and someone calls your name and then your realise they are calling their dog :o

At training club we have two (human) Paulines, one of which owns a dog named Jenny, which also happens to be the name of a different person in our class - very confusing!

Oh and when I took my Bronze test with Cadbury the examiner muddled our names up, Cadbury was Sophie, I was Cadbury...
 
We run into a lot of Tillys and Tallys and th a couple of Tullys - I thought I was being original when I named her. Then I found out there is a top basketballer called Tully and the Tully family owned half of canberra so its a popular name with kids as well!

Its funny at agility training when I call out to Tully I often get a Toller coming up to me, poor girl finds it very confusing, whereas my Tully just ignores everyone.

Jessica or Jessie is a popular dog name here and Deska often gets a bit confused when someone calls out the name - it must sound similar to him.
 
I used to sing 'Feed Jake' at kareoke.. it made the girls swoon!

I think the song has been around a lot longer than the 90s.. I remember this sweet old lady comng up and thanking me for singing it because she loved that song in her youth and had recently lost her dog.. It was very touching.
