That's GREAT news! I'm so happy for you, Ivy and the rest of your family! My fingers are crossed and some extra prayers going your way to ensure your luck, and wellness!! :smile2:

Finally, some good news! My vet called this afternoon and said the pathology showed that Ivy's tumor is a rare form not usually seen in dogs and was not malignant. We are SO relieved. He also said that the test showed that he got it all, so hopefully that's the end of it.

Thanks to all of you for your good thoughts, kind words, prayers and support. I feel as if I know so many of you on this forum personally even though we've never met each other (we have to remedy that one day--a Sheltie Forum party?) and we are all a big Sheltie family. WOW that is fantastic news! Somebody upstairs was sure looking after Ivy.
I am so happy for you. That unknown and waiting for results is the worst
experience.

Awesome news ! It's been a tough week for forum members. I am so glad that there is some wonderful news now.
 
What a relief! Finally some good news. Ann I am so so happy for you and Ivy! I remember my last sheltie, he had a lump on his leg and my vet thought it was cancer too, a very aggressive one, but the biopsy came back as a benign tumor - so I know exactly how relieved you are now. Great news!!
