Welcome aboard and I just love your web site. How dreadful that they shaved your Kirby. I am glad Ashley knew who the other Solange puppy owner is, I knew there was one but I forget. I had looked at her web site when I was searching and she looks like such a nice lady.
Your Bailey is just so cute and Dakota is adorable too.
I am a gardener also and your yard and gardens are lovely.

You can PM her on the website (to find her name go to Community at the top, Members list, and search for her name "sheltieluver"). Her name is Ashley (like me!) and I'm sure she'd love to hear from you.
 
Thanks to all for being so nice to welcome me to this forum. I love it!! Also thanks for the compliments on my 3 shelties. I spend a lot of time grooming as it relaxes me and makes the bonding stronger. I have a friend, Nanette of Vanguard Shelties, that helps me with setting the ears. I just can't get the hang of it. Nanette also teaches the kindergarten puppy class so we have a lot of fun. I love going to puppy classes!

Welcome to the forum, the dogs are adorable. I will never go to a groomer as I have read and heard about shaved shelties too many times!! I have also met one with a bad haircut. :no:
 
Surprisingly PetSmart does a great job on bathing and grooming them. I just tried a new groomer that is closer to me so I thought why not try them. I will never go there again. It has been 4 months since he was shaved and his coat is about half grown back. Aaarrrggg!! Back to PetSmart I go!!
