Mats behind the ears.

I feel obsessive now as I comb Merlin's ears everyday He has a lot of very soft, crinkle fur behind them and when he gets fussed the hair separates and looks scraggly which irritates me (I suppose its grease) so I comb it regularly with the slicker front and back. I think I'll start using some baby powder as well. I'm paranoid about mats, so that feeds into my grooming OCD.

Cindy's is always complaining about the mats behind Cosmo's ears, and is constantly brushing them out, unfortunately she doesnt get much help from me as I tend to be the mat produced ( scratch behind the ears dad please) rather then the mat remover.
