Maybe found a puppy for Ben for a service dog

What an uplifting post-thanks...what little cuties they BOTH are. Prayers for Ben and his family . You are a wonderful Aunt. Do you wanna know how bad I want a merle puppy ?!? Why the name Max- it is really a neat name.
 
They are both adorable. Ben looks so happy with his puppy and Max like he's where he belongs.

There's nothing more heartwarming than a child and their dog.

I'll keep your entire family in my prayers that Max is successful in his service dog training.
 
The name Max: There is a kid's program here is Canada, a cartoon about a rabbit named Ruby and her brother Max, which Ben just loves. Hence the name.

When we looked at the paperwork, Max's father's name is Golden Hylite's Maximum Limit - what a coincidence??? I think not.

Ben's full name is Benjamin Russell Smith. Max's registered name is Fusion's Russell Smith, call name of Max. We couldn't fit Max into the registered name. Ben made so many memories for us yesterday that will never be forgotten.
 
How wonderful! I wish Ben and Max many years of happiness together. And I have a Max too! He's a rescue and we love him dearly.
 
It's great that you found an ideal puppy so soon. They look just wonderful together. I bet they are already best buds :smile2:
 
Don't have any new pictures to post.

I watched Max again last Sunday while his family had a day out at Darien Lake, thanks the Make A Wish Foundation. Max just loves Liam - he wants to be with him all the time.

Ben came in the house when they stopped to pick up Max. In just the two weeks, I have noticed a real change. He was almost glowing with happiness. Before he always had a frown on and looked unhappy. My niece feels that Max is the best thing to have happened to Ben lately. So glad they welcomed the litte Sheltie into their lives.
 
That is so heartwarming to hear. I can't wait to hear about the two of them once Max is old enough to really start "working". Sounds like it'll be awesome!
 
Oh my , no pics :eek2:...so glad to hear that Max and Ben are getting along well together. Sally will be starting her therapy work soon too. She will be going to work with DH- he works at an assisted living center. Will Max be attending classes in therapy training ?
