Here she is, the latest addition to the Canberra Shelties crew. A little girl currently being called kiss-kiss but to be named Kismet (probably).

She is a conformation and agility hopeful. A little on the crazy side, a ton of energy.

Don't ask me what possessed me to have 3 Sheltie girls at once! Tully is not impressed, Della is resource guarding her, the older cat loves her and the Burmese thinks she is evil. In all a great success - not!

Kismet hardly sleeps and screams like a Banshee when I go out of her sight. And yet, I'm finding a puppy easier to handle than a stressed out, anxious rescue!

Today Kiss had a play date with Milo the Sheltie puppy. Tired her out for a whole hour which was a nice reprieve, that puppy has no off button. Reminds me of Tully as a pup.

Kismet also decided Kongs are evil.

She is a fluff ball of cuteness. I've had 3 different sets of 3 girls and all has worked out fine. God if you could only bottle that energy.... I'd love some for myself! Enjoy Caro, it's such simple joy to watch a pup grow up, even if it is a bit of work. I do like her name - tried to think of others for you but they all sound more like boys - Jet, Comet, Sonic, Dash.
 
Thanks for sharing the videos! Kiss Kiss is a charming bundle of joy! So much fun!! I'm sure you will have many happy adventures together.

(Also, apparently I am insane because seeing a Sheltie puppy makes me jealous even though I have an 8 month old pup :lol:)
 
You guys with multiple females give me hope - so far there's lots of growling and not much loving! That said, Tully actually got into the bed with Della to get away from the pup, so that was something.

Day 5 with the demon spawn, whoops I mean Kiss-kiss has been interesting. She's proving herself an early agility hopeful.

In the kitchen and suddenly there's a puppy next to me - I could swear that puppy was previously in her x-pen. Anyone have advice for keeping her in?
She can now jump on the couch, and has discovered a really fun trick of climbing onto the arm of the chair and leaping off. Almost as much fun as the game of running to the top of the stairs, jumping onto the potplant to get even higher and then launching into mama's arms.
Garbage bags have all sorts of fun things in them.
The broom and my pick-up stick are evil and need to be killed (I remember that one with Mr D).
She's giving lip to Tully and the cats, they growl or hiss and she just barks back at them.
Oh and those teeth, chewing everything shoes, power cords, clothes, paper.

Would all be fun but I've come down with a shocking cold and fever and just want to sleep it off. But the worse thing is she's taken to chewing tissues and toilet paper, not unusual in a puppy but you'll know what a tragic thing that is if you've been getting the corona virus panic buying over there. Heck I had to drive all around town just to get some paper towels to clean up the accidents, god knows why people are panic buying that!

Sleeping next to kitty! Wow, that is major progress...
Looks like Tully and Della will be bonding more with the new puppy in the mix! They have to show a united front!

It will all take a while to settle down. When Faith came we were ready to give her back after a couple of days - she was just NUTS and was humping Brooke like crazy, much to Brooke's distress. Senior dog Ally was not happy either. Then on day 4, something clicked. She must have thought, "OK I'm here now and it's really not so bad. I think I like it". Suddenly she was a different dog. I believe I've read it takes up to a month for things to fall into place. Don't despair yet.
