Merlin has Chronic Inflammation of the Throat and Lungs

So reducing the steroids did not go so well and we had to go back up to the full dose. Going to try again in a couple of weeks. He is back at agility running micro height and loving it, he is definitely feeling better.

On the other hand, poor Cadbury has been to the vet with a skin problem. He was getting hotspots and his skin is really itchy. They don't know why so he has a couple of tablets to take. Slightly more worrying is his weight loss. Earlier in the year he went to the vet and was 28.5kg. I was told he mustn't lose anymore weight. When we went back this week he has dropped to 27.6kg. I have upped his food to over a kilo a day to try and put some weight back on him. Poor man has spent most of his life on around 600g of a food a day to keep him at 30kg, now suddenly I can't keep the weight on him. *sigh*

Sorry to hear Merlin has to back up to the full dose of steroids! I tried to lower the dose for Logan with the same result. Coughing came back!
So very disheartening for our boys. Glad Merlin at least feels good enough to agility!

Sorry to hear about Cadbury weight loss. Especially since Labs are known for increasing weight... not losing it! Hope you find a resolution soon!
