Missing from Nova Scotia, Bandit

The website is called lost dogs found blogspot. I was reading the stories again last night. They are amazing. I loved the one about a lost shi tzu who followed two German shepherds through their doggy door. When the owners came home they thought the shi tzu was a toy or a puppet the dogs found! The little dog loved one of the shepherds. What a way to get found. Inspirational stories.

Thanks Chris! I'm praying every day.
Danny's Mom, in Nova Scotia we are lucky enough to have an amazing group of people who started an organization last January called Nova Scotia Lost Dogs Network, they have a website and facebook (I think twitter too, but I've never gone on twitter). You would LOVE the story of Odie, a beautiful almost all black border collie, almost totally blind from birth. They thought he might be able to see shadows out of his left eye. Went missing sometime after Bandit ran, and I don't think there were ANY sightings. I think it was 3 weeks later, a couple people in NS were 4 wheeling in the woods, saw a black bear & cub & took pictures. Went home & looked at the pictures & couldn't believe it, the cub was Odie! They got in touch with the owners, and they were able to get him back! This black bear took care of that little dog! If they hadn't had their camera, no one would have ever known that was not a bear cub.
NS Lost Dogs Network are actually the group that led me to this site, they know how upset I am about this, so they sent me the link to Aspen's story. Another absolutely amazing story! I shared that one with a lot of people, especially my kids and my parents, really helped give them hope as well.

Yeah, I looked at that one, some amazing stories there as well. Aspen's story is on this website (sheltie nation), and Odie is on Nova Scotia Lost Dogs Network, but I think they both should be on the site you are talking about so more people can read these amazing stories! And for people in my situation, these stores are what gives real hope.

Thanks, I will definitely read that!

Where did you hear about the one on Sackville Drive? That is about a 1/2 hour drive from my place, I work in that area and would get more details if I could, it is a very long road straight through Upper, Middle and Lower Sackville.

Hi Linda. I read about a very scared sheltie running between yards on Sackville rd. on the web. I was just looking at different sites and a man said he saw a sheltie ..... I will go through all the sites I have been on and try to find it. It was seen not that long ago. Wouldn't that be something if it was him. Do you have posters up there? I better get busy and find that website.

Found it. Ad in kikiji. 11-14-11. I'll read it to you.
Lost dog sighting. Saw a sheltie running through yard on Sackville Dr. Just past Lucasville Rd.. I really tried to catch him/her with a bag of treats. No luck. He took off. Seems pretty scared. Called animal control. He was sighted before 1 PM.
