Montys new kibble

my Happy (non-sheltie) used to take a mouthful of kibble, put it on the floor- sometimes near the bowl or sometimes farther away- and then eat each of those kibbles before going back for more. he got to eat that way for some years until the first sheltie puppy came home... and now everyone eats in a crate

When Sca was a puppy he would inhale his food then flip the bowl over and nose surf it around on the ceramic tile. I had to find a bowl he could not flip as that was VERY annoying. He set the stage for how to eat that continues.

Darren, this reminded me of our long ago Malamute named Mystery. He was iffy in the car, sometimes car sick, sometimes not. One time we all went out for hamburgers and got one for Mystery too of course. He inhaled it in one gulp, bun and all, and just as we were getting home he upchucked it...still in the bun and in perfect condition except for a slight covering of tummy slime!!
