More Mouth!

Teddy is doing okay The area where the lump was is almost flat. He has about a 1 inch scab with a 1/2 inch area that is slightly red. Doing his ointment twice a day . He doesn't even seem to notice it.
So I'm actually confused a little, I was always under the impression that a cyst could shrink but it would never totally go away. It looks like this may disappear once it heals so I don't know We will keep a close eye on him till it heals and take him back to the Vet if I don't like what I see. So this time we are minor compared to everyone else's issues.
It's my dream for everyone to heal and we can talk about fun things for a while .
Piper had one on his back that the vet aspirated a few years ago but it eventually came back. The vet did remove it in March of last year when she removed an epulis and it won’t return now. He has another one on his neck (same kind, just a sebaceous cyst)) but it doesn’t bother him.

I’m glad to hear Lacey had a better day yesterday Ann! It’s never good to see our dogs in pain! The vet had me stop the Metacam and said for me to wean Piper off the gabapentin. I stopped the Metacam last Tuesday but I’ve still got him on the gaba 2/day. I don’t want him to be in any pain, I’ll cut him down to 1/day for a few days and then stop when I’m sure he’s pain free. He still has a stitch that the vet said should fall out (I’m not sure it will) that bothers him…I may take him back (or remove it myself lol) if it hasn’t come out by Tuesday. 3 weeks should be enough time!
