More Surgery for Checkers

Checkers is home and doing well! It was a nail-biting afternoon; she was in surgery for three hours. My vet said the cysts were smaller than she expected and don't even need to be sent out for testing. What a relief! That was my biggest worry since she's had two kinds of cancer tumors.

She had three teeth that were broken extracted too, so besides stitches in two places, my poor girl went through the ringer. But she's so stoic, you'd never know. She came home looking for dinner as usual, and is affronted that she's gated in a "quiet" section of the family room. My vet said she did great. I am SO happy to have her home! Thanks to everyone for your support and prayers! Hugs to all of you! :hugs
 
That's the best news! So glad the cysts were small...if the vet isn't worried then that's even better!
Amazing, she had teeth pulled and cysts removed and wants her normal meal lol.
