I wish I could say I was brave. I break into tears most days. These sweet souls deserve better... Not be sick with a terminal Dx like this. Some days it seems like nothing is really wrong... Others, no so much! Just took another shot of Laddie and Chance.
 
All that matters to Laddie is that you love him. You are giving him extra time with all your care and devotion. And trust me, dogs know. Gavin's bond with me got so much stronger when he was sick, and his trust in me is overwhelming. As long as you still get to see that loving smile, it is all worth it!
 
Gloria your dogs could not be in a better home - you give them all the help and love as they can wish for, even if you have it so hard. :hugs

- I do not know what it is, but every time I see pictures of your dogs - they are incredibly similar in their expressions (all 3)
- so it's like they want to tell me something.

What a gorgeous picture. It must be so emotionally exhausting for you having them both doing poorly. And here they are in that photo, giving their best sheltie smiles. They really are amazing, smiling and being happy despite what's happening to them - you are so lucky to have such sweet boys.

Gloria,
I've been out of town and offline for a couple of weeks and just wanted to check and see how your boys are doing. I can't tell you how much I feel for you - my struggle with Ally being still far too fresh in my mind, and I know how you must be feeling. This is the hardest part of having dogs - they just don't live long enough and when they leave, your "family life" that you know and cherish is forever altered. My thoughts are with you and Laddie and Chance. They are such handsome guys with sweet expressions.
