My Sweet Lottie has lung tumors

Sending prayers to both of you. You have been through so much this year and Lottie has been through so much in her life- she has been blessed to have you as a mom.
 
Sorry to hear such news. Katie, Laddie and I will keep her in our prayers. She is lucky to have such a wonderful mom and family to be with..

We have an appointment with the oncology vet this Friday morning a 8:15. Thank you all for your kind words and prayers. Please continue to pray for my sweet girl. I appreciate it so much!

I promise to continually pray for your sweet girl, Miss Lottie. (what a beautiful girl she is, also)

And prayers going up for you, too.
 
So I took my little Lottie to the oncologist today. The doctor said that the tumors in her lungs are not the type from metastasized breast cancer. She believes Lottie probably has another form of cancer somewhere in her body. They did an ultra sound of her abdomen, no cancer there. The lung tumors are such that they cannot be surgically removed. The chemo therapy has side effects that far outweigh the efficacy. So for now I just wait for signs of her health deteriorating. They said she will lose weight and begin coughing. I'm getting another X-ray in a month to see the growth of the tumors. She apparently has anywhere from a couple of months to a year. As long as she is feeling well I am happy, but I will not allow this sweet girl to suffer anymore in this lifetime. She has had more than her fair share. I am broken hearted.

As of now, she is happy as a lark! Pray it stays that way for a very long time!
 
I am so sorry for this sad news. :cry:. It is a good thing that she seems happy and comfortable for now. Sending good thoughts and prayers to your sweet girl so that she remains pain free and happy for as long as can be. May you have plenty of beautiful days ahead to be enjoyed together. :hugs
