New Behavior is Troublsome

Must say, your comments about him last night brought tears to my eyes as well - what a sweet moment.

But you do know if you dress him up in dolls clothes the sheltie union will be on to you:yes:.

Small steps at first, but it definately sounds like he will make a full recovery.

I add a product called Orafresh a few times a week to my dogs' water which helps keep their teeth clean.

I have a toothbrush and peanut butter toothpaste that I am going to try. I think I might try the Orafresh too. I've never heard of it before.

Where did you buy it at? I couldn't find it on Amazon or Cherrybrook.

Smudge I saw something similar to that Orafresh at Petsmart that you add to their water. We got the spray for on the spot treatment lol but it doesn't work too well.

HaHa Caro! As much hair as he has I don't think you could fit anything on him, maybe one of our tshirts! My little sister (who is 11) found out about him and now wants to come visit for a few weeks. She loves coming to stay with us since she started home schooling. I think it will be good for him, she will spend a lot of time brushing and messing with him.

awww

I am finally back and catching up on this thread, I was worried about Hollywood! This Forum is like waiting for installments of a reality show, just better!
Seriously tho when I read the posts about him turning around starting with eating from the crate to licking your hand, laying on your lap in the photo to wanting your attention, now sleeping with ya, etc.... I am not going to lie... brought tears to my eyes, that photo just tells it all.. Now I better NOT read this stuff while I am at work, trying to sniffle through my job :o :eek2:

Can't wait for the next installments and MORE photos, Hollywood sure looks gorgeous!!

Sorry, guys, the aging memory failed me again. It's OXYFRESH, not Orafresh. My vet sells it but I found you can get it cheaper online so now I order it directly from them. I put a teaspoon in their water bowl (with a quart of water) three times a week and that's it. One bottle lasts me nearly a year, so very cost effective! I also brush, but not as often as I should. This stuff does seem to help. Here's the link. It's the Pet Oral Hygiene Solution:

That price isn't that bad at all!

By the way when I said peanut butter toothpaste I meant peanut butter flavored. I don't brush my dog's teeth with actual peanut butter. :uhoh:
