Maybe an updated pic is in order? It is great to look back and giggle at our worries. Or... his really IS a coyote! :biggrin2:

I know that I will probably be laughing at myself in a year or two. Lately, it seems like Duncan will never grow in his "big boy" fur. Actually, all my babies will probably be getting fuller coats this summer. Pierre is about to hit 2 which in Papillons, is when their full coat comes in. Don't worry about people, though. This happens to all breeds. Someone actually looked at Pierre at the dog park a few months back and said we got gypped on the ears! I looked over and saw a set of beautifully fringed ears on a considerably young dog and kept my mouth shut.

If I remember correctly, I think that they no longer have Buddy as he was not a good fit for their family. Look for the thread called "Is there a rescue group in Spokane Washington" or something like that.

I just saw this thread - it popped up again! Buddy (the little coyote) was our puppy. We had him 3.5 months and had to give him up to Sheltie Rescue. His extreme shyness was turning to aggression and it was too hard on our older Sheltie and all our grandchildren. He's in a wonderful home - he's an only dog and there are no small children. He goes to work with his "dad" every day! He's been renamed Charlie!

The Rescue Group found us a beautiful and sweet retired show dog. We love her so much and so does our little Maggie Mae - they are getting more and more friendly each day. They share beds and dishes and food! I haven't seen a picture of Buddy since he was adopted. They don't encourage contact - I bet he's a handsome fellow!

    Thanks for inquiring! :smile2:

    don't worry cute puppy

If you check out the album of Maxine and Flora you'll see Flora at 4 months.
Maxine is almost 2 years now, but looked just like Flora at the same age.
Flora changes almost every day, now its long legs and scruffy coat. Based on Maxine I expect her to be beautiful when she grows up. (of course I'm prejudiced)
