Now Theo is having issues....

From what I gathered it would have been passed on to them from Hadley and Hadley has never displayed any signs. It's def worth mentioning to my vet! I'm up for any suggestions at this point.

The older dogs may not display the signs. Hadley can have it, but not show any symptoms from it. They can also get it from other dog feces and uncooked meat that contains the spores. I think if I remember correctly, cows can carry it.

It is worth looking into. I am not sure about if it would just linger on, or if it would be more acute. But see what your vet says. It may be worth a blood test.

The symptoms seem more like the symptoms in a dog over 6 months of age.

Chloe had this at 8 weeks and it was terrifying.

Sorry you don't know what happened to Theo yet but sounds like you have gotten some great advice on where to go from here. How is he today?

If I understand correctly, he is fine outside but has the symptoms inside? Have you started using any new cleaning supplies, scented sprays, etc? If he is reacting only inside, then it makes me wonder if it isn't something in the residence.

This is an excellant observation, Ronna!

I am sorry Theo is not feeling well, I sure hope your vet will figure it out.
I would say based on Lily's story it is seizures. I have seen some weird ones in humans going for long time, those things are not always text book like.

I'm sorry, I should have been more clear. I was trying to state if I can get him to snap out of it it's usually by taking him on a walk or for example, when I first saw him at the vet when I went to pick him up he got super excited and was so happy but then it changed within 5 minutes and he was out of it again. When lily started having issues we got rid of all our cleaners (vinegar only now) make our own laundry soap/body soap, and even moved into a duplex b/c we thought maybe the apartment was spraying some kind of pesticide or something. So I've tried to eliminate everything I can think of as i've been dealing with this on and off since November. I finally caved in and got Lily her rabies shot this weekend and it will be interesting to see if anything happens in three weeks. We researched her issues a while back and found her first and second episode were exactly three weeks after her second and third set of vaccinations. He appears to be more alert this morning but I haven't had much time with him. I'm going to bring them in and see how he is. He slept in bed with us last night and when I went to bed at 2am he was still pretty out of it. less wobbly but just very lethargic.

How long after you moved into your new place did Theo begin having symptoms? Do you have carpet? If the carpet was cleaned prior to your moving in, you would not know what cleaners/chemicals may have been used in the cleaning of the carpet or in fact the whole residence. That is why I questioned about cleaners, etc.
