Oberon's sick today

That's no fun for anyone. Especially one who has the hurt tummy. My first thought was he got into something or ate too much like you said. Poops still look okay today? Nothing runny or explosive? Poor little guy.

Last night he was doing better -- ate quite a bit of the rice and cottage cheese (I gave him a tablespoon at a time to make sure he kept it down) and even a little bit of sweet potato. This morning instead of his puppy food for breakfast I made him a scrambled egg, which he woofed. However, for lunch he showed no interest in his puppy food so back to the rice and cottage cheese, but he only ate a little.

Peeing is still normal. I haven't seen him poop today, so I'll check with Lee and see if he pooped this morning. Yesterday's poop was normal, not runny at all. I'll see how the next few hours go -- and maybe give the vet another call.

Sign of appetite back is good, peeing is good. Susan could be on to something. We had one batch of kibble that was just plain not good for Chelsea. Turns out is was wayyy past date but still on the shelf. It had gone bad. Now we religiously look at dates.:eek2:

any better

How is he doing today? any better? when woofs are ill it is just so rough on us. Wishing Oberon no more tummy rumbles!!!!!!!!

Oberon's tummy seems to be all better today :smile2: He ate a couple of scrambled eggs last night (yes, I spoil him) and his regular breakfast this morning.

We had made plans to take him to daycare today at the place we will be boarding him when we go out of town, as a trial run. It's a place we used before with our Samoyed and found them really good. On the way there, we were rear-ended while stopped at a red light. Fortunately, Oberon was in a car seat so he was shaken up a bit, but not injured. We'll reschedule his trial day, hopefully for next week . . .

Good news that your boy is feeling up to par...always a worry when a wee one is sick. Gentle hugs to Oberon from upstate NY. :smile2:

Savannah was scheduled for her last shots yesterday, weather was ICKY, the Vet called and said reschedule...it is a commute for us and since she is reactive he said I would rather you do this when the weather isn't a threat to your safety. So sorry you were in an accident, but in my sector traffic was a nightmare due to ice on the roads, freezing rain, snow, etc. Glad you were all ok!!!!
