Odd Accident

Echo wet the bed in her sleep about a year ago and I freaked out. I took her to the vet and they did a urinalysis and blood work. Everything was fine and it's never happened again. I think she was just dreaming. This is a dog that NEVER has accidents in the house.
Hopefully this is just a one time thing for you as it with us.
 
Thanks, everyone! It's good to hear that this has happened to others (dogs and people!) and it hasn't been a health issue. I told my husband the joke--he dreamed he was eating a marshmallow and woke up and his pillow was gone :lol:

Anyways, I think we're going to take a urine sample in tomorrow just to make ourselves feel better. He had a full blood workup just a couple months ago (we do it every year) and had a clean bill of health.

Nothing showed up on the urine test or physical exam. The vet said that they could do a urine culture but didn't recommend it unless we saw more symptoms. He had blood work just a few months back and everything was fine.

For now we're treating it as a weird dream. Hopefully it won't happen again!

I have had that dream of needing the toilet and then hunting around all over for one. Thankfully I have always woken up and gone 'man, I need the toilet now!' I hate that dream! Completely sympathise Bentley xx
