I'm very sorry to hear about your puppy! I hope the surgery goes well and she's OK.
One suggestion: If you don't have one, you will need to get a crate. It should be big enough for her to stand up, turn around and lay down in at least. You'll need it to confine her while she heals. If you haven't crated her up till now, she will object, but it's the safest place for her while her leg heals. It will also keep her from over-exercising the other leg.
I'd recommend a wire crate rather than a soft crate (which she can chew) or a plastic crate which she can't see through well. A wire crate can be covered at night with a sheet or blanket to help her sleep but during the day at least she can easily see you and what goes on in the house.
Your puppy will be groggy after the surgery, and they may give you some pain med for her initially when she comes home. But be prepared for her to want to be a puppy (read: active!) when she feels better. This is when you'll want to be able to confine her and limit her to simple games that will occupy her without using the leg.
Good luck and please keep us posted!
