Our Sketchie Boy

Trini, I am beyond sorry to learn that Sketchie has died. Going through an amputation with a beloved Sheltie leaves one staggered at the depth of their courage and endurance. May the memories of Sketchie bring happiness and comfort.

Thank-you everyone for the loving words of comfort and support. I am really struggling with this loss. In a way I think that although I logically knew the prognosis for his cancer was grim, somewhere deep inside I was counting on my Sketchie to once again beat the odds and as hard as he fought until the end, this time he couldn't win. Right now life feels pretty empty...thankfully the other little ones force me to get up and face each day.

I wish I could offer words of encouragement. I’m going through this too, so I know how lonely and heartbreaking it is to wake up each day without your beloved dog. It’s just horrible.

Kip and I will be thinking of you and hope things get better

oh no Trini should you now also lose your lovely Sketchie,
you must have it so terrible, with your grief - I feel with you :hugs

Dear Trini, my sincere condolences on the loss of sweet Sketch. I too remember when he was diagnosed with cancer and had his leg removed. You have been there for him every step of the way! He, in turn, understanding your deep dedication to him return the love and devotion.
Trini I Can not say it better than Gloria.
