Pancreatitis...

Slippery Elm Bark Powder was the magic that I discovered through my pancreatitis journey. It was the only thing that would help her hold down food.
 
Now that Laddie has been home a couple weeks, I was wondering how he is doing? Pancreatitis can be so scary! Have you found a diet that seems to be working for him? He has been on my mind since I first read your post about him having pancreatitis. (This is a disease I have had to deal with more than once with one of my shelties.) I hope Laddie is feeling better. Love the photo of him crashed out by the door.... so relieved to be home!

Laddie is doing well and on his last week of Denarmarin. This is the last of the drugs he will need to be on. I got the confirmation from my vet that I can add probiotics back into his food. I have ordered Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Gastrointestinal Low Fat LF Dry Dog Food that was just shipped today.

Hopefully, ALL this is now history for us! :winkgrin:
He is acting 100% now which can not be said of my VET SLUSH FUND ACCOUNT :no: Time to build it back up! :yes:

He is on only LOW FAT Treats...he LOVES THEM...

I have been using that same Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Low Fat dry food for my Honey for over a year now, and she has not had an attack of pancreatitis since being on it. I hope your Laddie is the same. Really glad to hear he is doing well :smile2:
