Sorry, Shaun! After my last experience I haven't trimmed any nails. I ordered my Peticure but the website says it takes 4 to 6 weeks to arrive, I guess they're in high demand. I'm glad Marlie was a quick bleeder. That's always been the case with ours too until my recent experience with Barkley.
Speaking of Barkley, the poor little guy is jinxed too. After a month on Doxycylene for Lyme disease, he began limping again last week on the same leg he was gimpy on when he was diagnosed with Lyme. So tomorrow he goes in for xrays to rule out orthopedic issues. If his leg is OK, he'll go back on the antibiotic for a run of six to eight weeks. I feel so bad for him...this after I butchered his nail!![]()
Poor Barkley! I hope he's ok. Let me know what they say is wrong. I hope it's not a joint issue. You know, Zoe has been limping on her right front leg for a few months and I took her in and the vet said it's arthritis already, she's only 6 1/2! They gave me some glucose chewables for her to take every day and I have been trying not to let her jump off of the couches. I think that really aggrivates it.

- only 22 days. not as bad as I thought it would be- actually less time than the 4-6 weeks it said on the website. we'll keep you posted on how it goes.
Hooray !! No more nicking and flying nail bits.
