Pin Brush

and the sad thing is ive actually lost I cant tell you how many brushes ringside.....ggggrrrr:mad: although I am getting better at doing a check before I leave ringside now:yes:
I need the bank pen chains on the brushes and than have it attached to me:lol:

get a small bungee and attach it to you and the brush :wink2:

You know, I used to spends loads of money on brushes for myself and people would think I was crazy. They always said, "It's a brush! They're all the same!" But they are not. There are some things I think it is ok to go a little bit cheaper on, and some things it's better to spend a little bit of money. You get what you pay for. It's also great that the better ones don't break if you accidentally drop them.

I was looking into buying some more brushes, as I only have a Zoom Groom since I threw all of my old ones away. I would like some nice ones and then I'll just use my Zoom Groom for baths, as it can double as a lathering tool. Where do you buy those (the good ones) from?

I have the 35 inch Chris Christensen... it works well. I also have the pocket pin brush from Chris for the show ring.

Along with the pin brushes I use a slicker and a comb for my grooming. I want to add a nice bristle brush to my collection soon.

Thanks Lightplum for pics of your brushes. I'm like Calliesmom, in that I have a pin brush that is probably thirty years old. The only new thing I've bought is a fine toothed comb. And Lightplum I love the look of your brushes, so elegant.

Looking on various sites at brushes, boy how in the world do you decide? I noticed there is even a triangle shaped brush. I would also like to get a better handle on a comb.

Sheltielover, you use a a "pocket pin brush" for the ring. Is this a small brush that would possibly work for traveling? Just googling, but would this be a little wonder brush?

I have the 35mm gold series pin brush (1 1/4" pins), the 20mm gold series pin brush (3/4" pins), and the 20mm pocket brass pin brush (3/4" pins, 7 1/2" brush length) from Chris Christensen. My favorite is the 20mm. It's a great all around brush :) Unless I'm grooming one of my males, I really don't have much use for that 35mm one. My girls just don't have enough coat length for it.

exactly!! I love the 20 it works well on all of them.

I ordered the 35mm and its supposed to arrive on Monday! I can't wait. Indy's coat is so thick it really a job to keep it from matting up.
Bacca's is not nearly so thick. Maybe I have to get the 20mm for him too! Love to shop for my pups! :wink2:

I also ordered their tote bag. I don't show, but I loved how it organized all the loot. I cart brushes and shampoos back and forth to the cottage every weekend in case of a fur emergency! The tote looks amazing

I'll let you know how it works. It's backordered until July 20th however.

That's quite the set-up you've got, though!
