I get the feeling some of the money is coming from the stolen money. Too coincidental that she takes all that money at the same time. I doubt a lawyer will still be taking this pro bono, not to a superior court, not with some kind of pay off (if not money). Although I see his motions are getting shorter and shorter. Maybe the family of the missing money should commence proceedings, get her from both fronts and at least see if the court can prevent her spending the money before it's all gone.
My understanding of the motion is it stops the municipal court hearing anything more about the case until the original matter (ownership) has been heard and ruled on by the court of appeal. So that means no hearings on damages until the matter has made it's way through all courts. No wonder Veronica is finding this financially hard.
