I agree. How can someone who claims to care so much for one dog, and go to extreme lengths to keep a dog that was not there in the first place, let that dog get into such poor condition is beyond my comprehension. Penny is just crazy.

Have they even investigated the conditions the current dogs are in at that place? Just makes me sick at how many other dogs could be suffering.

Considering the judge couldn't get Penny to tell him where Piper was to begin with, I highly doubt it.

For those who are on Facebook, Veronica has posted pictures of Piper from when she was reunited. She has an unbelievable amount of grey throughout her coat now. More than I first thought based on earlier pictures. She has sores on her snout, around her mouth. She has some flaky skin issue going on. Veronica commented that they were sores.

I just can't believe that was the condition that she was returned in.

Those pictures are really awful. That girl has been through hell.

that worked thanks...I believe all the pictures should be BLOWN up and posted everywhere to show how the "rescue" cares for those they keep. If I lived there, I would personally post those everywhere I could. Is this rescue? NO!!!! do not support this "rescue".

Hey there is now a petition for Piper and the procedures for holds on found dogs...you can find it on FB or change.org...they need signatures to change the laws...I think it is also on Piperslegacy.com

I am not much of a petition signer either but I felt this one had merit. If it helps Veronica and Piper, and other owners and their dogs, then I can certainly have warm and fuzzies about doing it!!!
