I just was aghast at this story. I still can't believe what Piper went through in the name of "rescue". If I lived in OH, I would be picketing the COSR, and posting before and after pictures everywhere to illustrate what "rescue" means to Penny. It was wrong what happened. Dogs have no voice or advocates, and for any pet to be subject to that nightmare just makes me livid.

Hey they have update pics of Piper, and she looks SO much better, but the ordeal isn't over and Penny is STILL claiming Piper belongs back with her-makes NO sense at all. It was good to read that Piper is slowly regaining some of her spunk and spirit back.
