Used to try that with Spitfire but he can still hear them and rampages (which Angus has to join in on). I tried drugging him one year, that only made for drunken attacks. Never did it again as I was afraid he would crash and hurt himself. Some years I just let him out. They do fireworks I do Spitfire let the noise continue.
We've passed the torch, no more for us. Our neighbors have dogs and they are the ones who set them off. They do text to let us know. This time of year I bring the boys out very early, then again very, very, very late at night. I always order stuff from the vet so the boys are not totally out of it, but relaxed.
They’re illegal here as well unless you have a permit. Unfortunately because stores sell them most don’t bother because then there’d be rules to follow! You ask me they should have to get the permit in order to buy them!
Heard them here all last night! The only saving Grace was they did not go on as long as years past. Then again, they might be saving up for this weekend and the 4th. My A/C and several fans on in the room really helped!
