Please, please pray for Asta

Sharon, I am just reading this thread tonight and I am so deeply sorry that your beautiful Astra didn't pull through this emergency. Suddenly losing a beloved little soul who has been a part of your home and hearts since she was a tiny pup is beyond devastating. I pray that you can at least find some small measure of comfort in knowing that Astra was incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful family and a life so filled with love during her time here on earth.

Sharon, my heart hurts for you and your husband. I felt like we knew Asta since we met you. She is happy, running free at the bridge and smiling down on you. Thinking of you and yours.
 
I don't know what to say except that I am so very sorry to hear this news. The shock you must be feeling must be overwhelming. Please know that we are thinking of you.
 
So very sorry to hear this - reading your posts made me cry. Asta was lucky to have people that loved her enough to help her find peace at the end. Hugs...
 
Sharon, I am so sorry to learn of Astas sudden passing. I know we have all experienced the same loss but it still doesn't make it any easier. It is hard enough to lose them when we are expecting it, but these unexpected losses are the hardest to take. You can take comfort in knowing that your Asta knew she was well loved. Of course, you will miss her always, but some day in the future you will think of some silly antic Asta did and you will smile because you know your little Asta is running free and healthy and waiting for you to join her.
