It's like claws on the end of a pole that open and close. So you can dig it out of the frozen snow, without having to get too close to it! (There were times last winter that I had to chip it out! Nasty Business!)
Well, the good news is that we got another snowfall, so the logs I wasn't able to clean up are now suitably buried until the next thaw. The bad news is that we are supposed to get rain on Saturday, so not only will they become unburied, but they will get wet and mushy.
I'm thinking baths on Sunday!

I think I use something similar to clean up Megan's "logs", LOL!

To my dismay, Ginny discovered poopsicles last night at our friends house since she doesn't get them at home. She found another 'treasure' at the park an hour ago.
Since she's shown no interest in eating poop till everything froze, I'm hoping that she'll stop being interested in them when she's done teething.

Ok,I can visualize these things. And its a good thing they have them.
It kinda reminds me of the first time I saw a pecan picker-upper. Living here in the south,we have loads of pecan trees,and they bear every two years. Well at the rental house,we had thousands of pecans one year,and I said to my landlord one day,ya know someone would be a millionair if they would invent a pecan picker upper.
Well there is such a thingie! Its a long pole,with a cylinder ball on the end,and the openings are all tines.So when ya roll it on the ground,the pecans go between the tines, and it catches them in the ball. How cool is that!!
It sure beats picking them up by hand. But you would just have to be sure you did'nt roll over poop,cause it would catch in the tines~

Well Cathy is surely one of those artists,that has taken her basket weaving trade to a whole new level,by incorporating it on a gourd. Her gourds sell for hundreds of dollars,I am the owner of one gourd,she sent to Brian & I as a house warming gift. I'll treasure it forever~

My husband just accused Lady for eating poop, and she was eating snow.
I brought her in, and said LOOK do ya see brown between her teeth? Honestly I laughed so hard at him. To be truthful, it wouldn't shock me if she did eat poop, not this time though.

Callie eats poop too- we tried pineapple- didn't work. maybe we'll try the meat tenderizer. She's been pawing the snow to find the poopsicles- I do usually make her come inside then but I'm sure that she gets some when I'm not watching.
