Prayers for Beau please…

Sorry, trying to catch up with all the posts. I agree with - was it Cindy? - who said about MDR1. Because they don't wash out the drugs so well, some of those meds can be very over-sedating and they can only tolerate small doses. Do you know what he is on?

Yes, it was Cindy that mentioned it! I asked the breeder and he was not tested. I will get him tested after he is better.
We are not giving the last medication as he does not seem to have any anxiety.

I want to thank everyone for your concern for me and my mom!
It warms my little Sheltie ❤️!
We got 9 hours of sleep last night so everyone is well rested!
Feeling a little bit better today!
Funny thing is, he has not barked once since he got home! He is my most vocal Sheltie! Did not even realize it until this morning.

He's just come through this with flying colors Gloria, and I couldn't be happier for both of you. The photo shows him looking comfortable. So glad you caught this, and he can now have a normal healthy lifespan! :hugs
I certainly hope that is the case, Sharon! That was the whole goal!
I am a bit concerned about them wanting to do the biopsy of the liver. Don’t really understand why but they highly recommended doing it. Just that alone was $500! Anyway, my vet confirmed it was better to do it now. I think it takes 2 weeks to get results back…
