Prayers for Logan please...

It's tough for you if you have a needle phobia, but so glad you are able to spare Logan the trip to the vet - has to be so stressful for him. Hope it all went well today. He really does have the sweetest face and expression in his eyes, as someone else mentioned.

I'm a nurse and not afraid of needles. But for some reason I really did have an issue giving sub Q fluids to my father-in-laws dog. So I completely understand. Hugs to you.

I gave him his fluids this morning before the appointment. Not sure if that had any impact since he has a heart murmur.

Anyway, I put Logan on the scale and he gained a pound. The vet was very pleased. Logan ate breakfast this morning and that really helps since he will normally eat lunch and dinner now!

I explained to the vet tech that I do not want to do anything unless necessary as the expenses are getting really high. I am sure I have topped $1,800 since this whole thing started.

The vet was kind and said with his weight gain, him eating, and SubQ fluids daily that Logan is stabilized. He did not think we needed to pull blood work today.

Good news all things considered... I think he looks better too!

Positive progress...

Gloria, that is the BEST possible news, hooray!!!! It sounds like Logan is on the road to recovery. Fingers crossed and prayers sent that it continues!

So glad to see this continuing good news for Logan. He does indeed look brighter in your latest photo. Hoping for the best!!

Thanks all for your continued interest in Logan’s progress and most of all your unwavering flood of moral support!

Makes me wonder how I could have coped with all this without the help, suggestions, and support of the Sheltie Nation community!

Years ago, when there was no such thing as Sheltie Nation, it would have been so much tougher on myself and Logan!

Bless you all! A special shoutout of thanks to Kelly for creating the best ever Sheltie website! So much work goes into making this site and so much good comes from it! With membership all over the world! What a huge impact it has made in my life and each and every Sheltie I have owned!
