Prayers for my little Pixie

Once again, I thank everyone who is keeping my little Pixie in their thoughts and prayers.

Yesterday the blood work results from Friday came in and the news is not good...her liver readings are significantly worse than the results from just 3 weeks ago. Monday she gets a quick ultrasound rerun to see if anything has changed since Friday. Her eating is down...right now all her system can handle is cooked egg noodles or rice...anything else is either rejected or causes her to evidence hours of severe discomfort in her abdominal area if she does eat it.

I am trying to stay upbeat, but I am not feeling very hopeful right now. We are doing everything possible to keep Little Pix comfortable and so far Tramadol is doing this fairly well. If/when a reasonable level of comfort is no longer possible we will be facing a heartbreaking decision.

Oh no! Trini, that is not good news. My heart goes out to you. This must be so hard. I'll continue to hope for better news and keep little Pixie in my prayers.

Did you start her on Denamarin?
 
I'm so sorry to hear that Pixie's blood results weren't good. My heart goes out to you Trini, and you and Pixie are in my thoughts and prayers :hugs
 
I'm really sorry to hear things have taken a turn for the worse for poor Pixie, especially after feeling more positive. Keeping Pixie and you in my thoughts :hugs
