Well done Sheep, you guys are doing great! That amount of weight loss really is great I can only imagine the amount of "feed me treat" stares you've had to resist lol.

Not to bad he has his serve me bark which means supper is late, water bowl is empty, he needs to go out or I am not amusing enough.

Husband keeps complaining Little Luke is getting too fat
But I can feel his breast bone and ribs.. Guess who overfeeds him lol

We just went through a similar discussion, my wife said I was making Teddy fat by giving him a treat just because. ( I like giving treats when he earns them and he usually gets 1 a day just because)
So after 30 mins I made her take him to his room and put him on his scale. Surprise, he still weighed 27.1 lbs

I think following the manufacturer's guides on how much to feed will almost always be too much. Willow would get one and a half cups of kibble a day if we followed the labeling on her food. If we fed her that much, even with her walking five miles a day every day, she'd be a round butterball. Although she wouldn't mind, we would worry about her health.

Agree with you! Right now because Little Luke is a certified ESA dog he gets a lot of exercise with me on the scooter.little guy gets tired he hops on the scooter at bottom of my scooter
I do my best to give him a balance of healthy food

Brrrrr .but it's looking like we are going start a cycle back to well above freezing Little Luke can play in his muddy yard and get his first washed everytime he comes in. He likes that lol
