Hey Chris - guess it can't hurt cutting Layla's breakky out for a while. She might decide she wants it afterall.

Just a thought - would Bacca go in a covered crate with the door shut and eat in there? Most dogs derive a real sense of security from a crate, I know the crate is the only place my boy will truly sleep (he is a bit insecure).
If it was covered with a big blanket it would make it like a nice little cave, then you could leave him to it.

I tried to feed him in his crate (its a soft-sided, so already very snug). No luck. He just sulks.
He's starting to pick up the pace a little and is now mostly finishing his bowl. But still only if he's tucked in the corner beside my chair. I keep Indy in his crate till Bacca is finished, and he's not complaining.
It works, but it does not solve the root cause, unfortunately - whatever that is!![]()
