Ruffles looks happy to be home, just maybe not happy with you right now! She’ll get over it though as she feels better every day! That looks like a very comfy bed!

gavin suggests telling ruffles that just because she isn’t supposed to jump on the couch doesn’t mean you can’t pick her up and put her on the couch…. or bed.

Ruffles looks really good - bright, alert! Hopefully she is back to normal soon. How long do you have to keep her quiet?

Ann, this has been one awful experience! I'm so glad Ruffles is home and healing. It sounds as if you got her to the surgeon just in time -- well done!!

Ruffles is doing well today. Mornings are tough, for some reason, even though she's on round-the-clock pain meds. She's uncomfortable and won't eat. Today though, by 10:30 she consented to nibble on some fresh food. She's decided the prescription vet canned food is not to her taste. 
She's due for lunch shortly, which she's been eating well and also dinner so that's good. I know when she's hurting; she just stands in place and won't move and gives me her sad look. I pick her up and lay her down on her side on a fluffy bed and she'll nap. She does seem a bit more perky each day.
And yes, I live to serve, Gavin. This picture is for you! I hope you're enjoying your trip with Mom!

Glad she is doing better. Can't blame her, I would bet that the prescription food tastes as bad or worse than that bland food I ate at the hospital the last time I was there.
