I love your videos and your pictures! Sadie looks great. I can't believe she was paralyzed a few days earlier. And Ginny is the cutest! She's so adorable. Bailey and Ginny would love each other. Pint size shelties.

Thanks! I think Bailey and Ginny would get along great two! Who knows, maybe some day they'll meet!

Thanks for sharing--the pictures are adorable. I guess Ginny wasn't a fan of the water? Sadie looks like she's doing great. You can hardly tell--she was walking and trotting right along side that other dog!

Sounds like she is improving slowly but better than expected at this time. That is so nice of your neighbor to let you bring her to swim. I would think that would help her confidence-what if you took them both swimming and then perhaps she would play with Ginny. Love the pics of the pond, she looks like she was ready to jump in and join you.

Here are the photos and videos I promised. These were taken 1 week after her collapse. Enjoy!

The first video shows Sadie swimming in the pond. Its hard to see because the water is dark, but her back legs are paddling.

The second video shows me kayaking with Ginny (She's so darn cute!) Also notice Sadie watching us from the shore and how well she's getting around.

Wow..these pictures and vids are awesome~I pray that Ginny continues to get well.

Wow!! I am thrilled to see how well Sadie is doing. The way she was trotting back and for on the dock is great. I was watching her legs and feet and she doesn't appear to having any knuckling under which is really a good sign. You are right the things I read about peoples dogs on the web who had Spinal Strokes was terrifying and very sad that's why I didn't refer you to any sites. I didn't want you reading any of those stories not knowing the extent of her stroke. Thank god our babies weren't as bad as those cases. Ginny is adorable also.
Where did you vacation it looked beautiful.

Take care

Thanks! I thought so. The other dog is my in-laws border collie Jazz.
Jazz is not a pure BC though right?

Sadie is looking great though and is on the way to a full recovery hopefully, careful with the yaught rides though or Ginny with think life is all cookies and yaughts

Thanks! She hasn't been knuckling under in quite a while. She was still fairly unsteady when the videos where taken but she was doing really well on the flat surfaces. She's doing even better now and hardly wobbles at all, but her back end is still noticably weak. Hoping maybe we can do some strengthening exercises soon.

Ginny already though that before we even took her for the boat rides

Jazz is a pure border collie so I'm told. She's not papered though so who knows.

Jazz is a great dog. I thought she'd be too much dog for my DH's Dad to handle but he's done a great job with her. She has lots of energy and they typical BC personality and also has a really sweat disposition. She was SO patient with Ginny, who didn't leave her side the whole week.
