Sally is safe!!!

I have to say that Sally is probably the easiest foster dog I've had. She quiet, I don't have to worry about her getting out of the fence or getting into things. She sleeps for most of the day. Old dogs are great! I'm pretty sure she's housebroken because she does her business right away when I let her out. Plus she's super sweet, so grateful for a little attention and love. My dogs are getting along with her really well. It's much easier for them to get along w/ a low energy dog.

It sounds like she is settling right in! What a great thing you are doing.
 
yayyyy for Sally, what a sweetie. Toffee is dog reactive, but he just loves old dogs, because they usually know what to do, are very polite greeters and don't make a lot of commotion. SO glad you were there for this lady!!
 
Oh, bless Sally's heart, and yours too for going the extra mile for this sweet senior pup. I am so glad she is fitting in so well. My easiest foster was also an older dog, a Cattle dog/Golden cross, the best behaved boy ever. Not one issue. Only his age held him back from being adopted, but he finally was, buy a wonderful family, and he devoted himself immediately to their two young kids. :biggrin2:

Sally is really starting to perk up. She has some spring in her step today. I've been feeding her in the laundry room since she eats slowly and the other dogs might steal her food. Tonight I peeked in the laundry room to see if she was done. She was standing at the door w/ her bowl in her mouth. Like she was going to ask for more. And this is no flimsy bowl. It's a heavy pottery bowl.
 
Ah, poor girl, deprived of food and having to bring a heavy bowl to get more. That is so sweet. She is coming along isn't she.
 
What a warm heart unhave and i'm sure Sally will reward over and over. Thank you for what you've done.
