Sally is safe!!!

Thanks Carol for the months of work to get Sally to this point. It sounds like Sally was a wonderful new home to look forward too. I’m sure you all are going to miss her, and although I’ve never met Sally, I’m really going to miss the Sally updates… She’s come a long way and she was special to me too. God bless her.

How about Findlay and Rusty… are they too going to miss Sally? Or is Findlay thinking he gets all of the chipmunks for himself now. LOL.
 
That's wonderful to hear. Congrats to everyone concerned for taking little Sally through all the rough patches and then finding her a home.

Rusty and Finley will miss licking Sally's bowl. She often left a bite or two. And I always let them lick the spoon I used for the canned food to keep them from stealing her food. Also, when Sally barked to go out or come in Finley was convinced she was barking about chipmunks. He would get a very serious look on his face and run out the door barking into chipmunk holes. He can't understand why the rest of us don't care about the unapproved rodents in the backyard. I don't think they miss her too much. They play together a lot but, Sally didn't really play. She did kiss them on the lips sometimes!

That’s funny Carol… Sally (in Finley’s mind) was your chipmunk early warning system. All good stories and a happy end to this tale. Way to go Sally.
