LOL !! Sandstorm is in our bedroom at night, at the end of our bed. He loves it, and has been doing this for awhile now. I'll let you know Miko, if he does anything wrong.Miko here.... I jist want'd to say "Way to Go" Sandstorm!!! My mom n' dad have bin lettin' me stay in the kitchen, but not in my crate, durin' the day and at nite. (mom says I sleep in longer when I can't see 'em and decide I'm hungry at 5am... hey, when I'm hungry, I'm hungry and I can't tell time!!) I hope you keep doin' such a good job, cuz if my mom reads some kind of horror story here about sumthin' you dun... I'm NEVER gonna be allowed outta that kitchen!!!
Yep, he chewed the buckle. Everything else was fine. I know he has been hanging out on our bed, because it is just a bit rumpled when I get home. He likes to do that and look out the slider at the woods. 
Maybe if you fed him later than 6 a.m.? I forgot how old he is. Try it, see what happens. Sandstorm doesn't make noise until I get up at 6, then he wants to follow me.Unfortunately, it's not that Miko can't be trusted to sleep in our room... it's that I can't stand him to sleep in our room. He just wakes up tooooooo early. If he's in the kitchen, he's quite until 7 - 7:30am... If he's in our room he's awake at 5am to pee, goes back in his crate, and then is whining again by 6am to be fed/let out. Hmmm... maybe he'd sleep in longer if he wasn't in the crate. I guess it's worth a try for a few nights. SO hates that he's not with us at night. LOL.. he's the softy of the family

Toffee sleeps in until 11 am
I think it was after Michelle told me (a long time ago) what time Trapp and Earnie were waking her up for breakfast that I got so scared and decided my dog won't get breakfast!! LOL
I feed him his meal when I get home at night after work, lol
However, Toffee and Misty do get a snack as I leave for work (I hide dog kibble) so they don't have a completely empty stomach til I get thome at 11:30 at night. This also entertains them and they can't wait for me to leave because they know it means kibble!
