Lord have mercy. What a nasty person. She's one of those people that you realllllly wish wasn't involved in any kind of rescue.

Is she the head of the rescue or is there a board above her? She is not a good representative of the rescue. If there is someone over her, consider contacting them. Sounds as if she is in the wrong type of work, or else has had a very very bad day.

Seriously what a witch. Rescue is an emotional and sometimes draining business, but hey, if someone from the outside is trying to help.... be grateful and at least courteous.

I would report her to petfinder.com & ask them to remove her group from their list or at least investigate this rescue as being legit. It gives petfinder a bad name if you see them listed on their site & this is how the group responds to a request to rescue.

Her reply was completely inappropriate. If that email had been directed at me I would have had a VERY hard time not replying with something equally rude. My temper some times gets the better of me.

This morning on Sheltie Nation there was info about Sheltie Rescue Alternative, Inc.. I don't know where they are physically but they specialize in older dogs, especially those with medical issues. Perhaps you could contact them? If they cant' help you maybe they have some suggestions. hrcarol took a couple pictures this past Friday when she visited Sally. I thought I would share them with you all.

Please continue to send prayers, we are working everyday to get Sally into a safe home or resuce. I haven't given up hope. Just look at this sweet face.
