setback with Ember

was Porter the stuck puppy? Or Bock? All seem well now!

Porter

wow, what a development! ember back into cast and no#4 is here. Your life must be one roller coaster...
I am wondering if trying acupuncture will speed up the healing for Ember. It seems that our dogs have trouble figuring out their limitations. Was Ember on any pain meds? Is it worth not giving them any pain meds later on so they mind the injured leg?
Congratulations on new litter, they are looking so cute. When would you know which one you keeping?

Don't know when I'll decided which one I'll be keeping. They all have things I like so far. The girls have a leg up being blue but I really like Bock's looks so far. Rachel really really wanted a blue girl so she is keeping one of them if they turn out to be show qulaity. I like a certain personality so when they are older I know which one stands out to me. Porter seems to be the most laid back so far.

But in big news. The second miracle of the week. Ember's appointment went great. I unwrapped her at the office and it was the first time I had felt it since Mon. It felt good. Doc looked at it and said it felt firm to him and it wa anatomically proper. Not much scar tissue either. He think she stained the repair but jumping and the swelling I felt was the bursa sacmoving aroung. For right now no cast, strict rest and start walking. Ember is unhappy about being in the kennel or on a leash 24/7. But as of right now, no more surgery:biggrin2: I just hope as she moves around more the looseness doesn't show back up again. But it appears solid now and I'm thrilled.

Glad to hear the good news on Ember. Hope you can relax a little now. You've certainly had a very stressful week.

I am so glad to hear that Ember appears to be on the road to recovery. It must be such a relief to set aside the thought of a second surgery.

All the pups look great. It's going to be fun to see how they change as they grow and mature.

I am so happy to hear Ember doesn't need surgery! Yay! And congratulations on the puppies. They are all beautiful. I'm very curious to see how the all black puppy develops.

That is such super news. You have had such an eventful few days. Hope you get some rest this weekend.

Miss Ember - you be good now for Mom and do what you are told.

Such great news for Ember well except for the resting part but super that she does not have to have surgery.
I need to go back and look at those puppies again and figure out who is who. Looking forward to more pics of the really black one, my breeder has a litter that has a bi-black with little white and a friends breeder has one that way also they look so cute. I love the names Bock and Porter.

This is great news!! I know you've been so stressed about Ember. Time to take a deep breath and relax before the puppies start moving about. You have been amazing with Embers care and thank God the birth went well and all are safe.

Yay for her not needing surgery! Awww@ the puppies. I miss mine being that little and QUIET! haha... ;)

I am so happy to hear that Ember does not need another surgery. That is great news. I hope that she can stay relaxed and rest it up.

That is good news. I am happy for you and Ember. I hope the extended rest helps and rehabbing goes well and slow.

PS - Sangia is my favorite by looks. Shiraz is close, as I do like patches. Can't wait to watch them grow.
