setback with Ember

What great news about Ember!!! That's awesome that she doesn't need surgery again. That's great news to end a great week!

Sweet pups, btw!

Was Ember on any pain meds? Is it worth not giving them any pain meds later on so they mind the injured leg?

I forgot to answer this. No Ember wasn't on pain meds after 3 days post surgery. She didn't seem uncomfortable and I usually don't like to keep them on it unless needed. A little discomfort keeps them sane. A lot is no good.

I did give her 2 days worth on Tues and Weds to help with swelling from the jump but she is not on them any more.

That is good news. I am happy for you and Ember. I hope the extended rest helps and rehabbing goes well and slow.

PS - Sangia is my favorite by looks. Shiraz is close, as I do like patches. Can't wait to watch them grow.

Sangria is my favorite by looks too. She is a fiesty girl already. She pushes her siblings out of the way and gets mad if she can't get where she wants. She peeled Bock off the faucet she wanted with her foot and shoulder. She also is the whinner when handled.

so happy to hear that Ember does not need surgery- what a relief
all the pups are so cute- can't wait for the videos :wink2:

I'm so glad to hear about Ember! You've had a lot on your plate lately, enough!! I hope Ember can relax now, be a good, quiet girl (hah!) and heal quickly so you can enjoy those puppies. I'm guessing sleep is not an option for you these days!! :sleepy:

Great news about Ember not needing more surgery:smile2:

Congratulations on Diva's pups! They are lovely and look a nice even size across the litter. I love the pictures where she has a pup snuggled under her chin, a picture of contentment. I am very taken with the almost black one at the moment, he is going to look stunning I would imagine!!

Beautiful puppies

Such a lovely litter and the pics were great. I particularly liked the close-up of Brock's head on Mum's neck, sweet. Well done with Ember, that is really good news.
